COOKING UP LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Cooking Up Love,' director Don McBrearty serves a delightful confection of romance and culinary ambition. The film stars Rachel Bles as Zoey, a driven entrepreneur who enters a high-stakes reality TV competition with her food truck. The narrative skillfully weaves a tale of ambition with the blossoming of an unexpected romance, as Zoey finds herself drawn to Stephen Huszar's character, the charismatic founder of a restaurant and a contest judge. However, underlying the romantic sparks is a delicious layer of suspense: is Zoey's potential suitor truly captivated by her, or is he after her coveted sauce recipe? Bles and Huszar share a compelling chemistry, navigating the complexities of competition and burgeoning affection with charm. The film offers a lighthearted yet engaging exploration of trust, passion, and the pursuit of dreams, making it a pleasant watch for those who enjoy a blend of food, romance, and a hint of intrigue.
