Cinemavixion Review

Neil Mcenery-West's 'Containment' plunges viewers into a terrifyingly claustrophobic scenario where ordinary apartment dwellers find their lives abruptly shattered. The premise is immediately gripping: a sudden, inexplicable quarantine seals off an entire complex, trapping residents with an unseen, deadly threat. As paranoia and desperation escalate, the film masterfully explores the breakdown of social order and the primal instinct for survival. The confined setting amplifies the tension, forcing characters into agonizing choices and revealing the darkest corners of human nature under duress. Lee Ross and Louise Brealey deliver compelling performances as their characters navigate this nightmarish situation. While the film's narrative unfolds within a single, intense setting, it poses profound questions about fear, community, and what truly separates humanity from savagery when pushed to the absolute limit.
