This intimate documentary, "Constantine A King's Story," offers a compelling look into the life of King Constantine II of Greece. Exiled after the 1967 military coup, the film chronicles his decades-long journey from his London residence, highlighting his continued engagement on the global stage with notable figures like Nelson Mandela and Queen Elizabeth II, and his unwavering dedication to the Greek people and international causes. The documentary provides rare access to the King's private life, royal events, and personal moments, painting a vivid portrait of a monarch who, despite losing his throne, never lost his spirit. The narrative culminates in King Constantine's return to Greece in 2003, a poignant homecoming for a figure associated with both an Olympic gold medal and the successful bid for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
