CONFESSIONS OF A BANK ROBBING BANDIT

Cinemavixion Review

This crime documentary offers a compelling, albeit grim, portrait of Stephen Reid, a figure once deeply enmeshed in the audacious "Stopwatch Gang." The narrative delves into Reid's past, a life characterized by high-stakes bank robberies and an estimated haul of $15 million, painting a vivid picture of an outlaw bandit involved in over a hundred hold-ups. Now, from the confines of a prison cell, the film captures Reid's introspective moments, his reflections on the path that led him to incarceration, and a newfound, sharp awareness of the present. The documentary, drawing from Jason Young's "From Inside Time," serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of a life lived on the edge, and the quiet contemplation that often follows.
