COMING HOME

Cinemavixion Review

The 2017 drama 'Coming Home' offers a poignant exploration of familial bonds and the consequences of prioritizing career over loved ones. Directed by W. Layne Mcdonald, the film stars Amy Comer, Keith Goff, and Mimmye Goode, who deliver grounded performances as a family grappling with the repercussions of a father's prolonged absence. The narrative centers on John, whose workaholic tendencies have created distance, forcing a confrontation with his choices upon his return home. While the film delves into themes of regret and reconciliation, it also highlights the redemptive power of prayer and divine love, adding a spiritual dimension to its heartfelt message. Despite its modest presentation, 'Coming Home' resonates with its relatable portrayal of the challenges and enduring strength of family ties.
