COME DANCE AT MY WEDDING

Cinemavixion Review

Mark Jean's "Come Dance at My Wedding" offers a poignant exploration of familial reconciliation and the enduring legacy of passion. The narrative centers on Tanner Gray, a man confronted by his past and a daughter he never knew, Cyd, following the death of his ex-wife. The film skillfully weaves a story around a dance studio, a symbol of both past dreams and future uncertainties. John Schneider delivers a compelling performance as Tanner, navigating the complex emotions of regret and burgeoning paternal connection. Roma Downey and Brooke Nevin provide strong support, anchoring the emotional core of the story. As Tanner grapples with the decision to sell the inherited dance studio, the film delves into themes of heritage, personal growth, and the courage it takes to reconnect with lost family. It's a touching drama that celebrates the power of dance and the unexpected turns life can take.
