COLORBLIND

Cinemavixion Review

Mostafa Keshvari's "Colorblind" presents a poignant drama centered on Magdalene, a Black artist navigating a new environment with her son, all while grappling with her colorblindness. The film, which garnered 10 wins and 18 nominations, delves into the challenges of perception and the true colors of humanity, as its protagonists are tested by their new surroundings. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 4.1/10, the narrative's exploration of prejudice and understanding offers a compelling, albeit understated, cinematic experience. While the runtime is not specified, the film's themes of identity and societal acceptance resonate, making it a noteworthy watch for those interested in character-driven dramas that confront complex social issues.
