COFFIN 2

Cinemavixion Review

Kipp Tribble's "Coffin 2" plunges viewers into a claustrophobic nightmare, a high-stakes thriller where survival hinges on deciphering a deadly puzzle. The film masterfully builds tension as a group of disparate individuals, including the returning "Trick" and the determined Detective Epperson, find themselves ensnared by a sadistic captor. The narrative cleverly interweaves the victims' desperate struggle for answers with the parallel investigation by FBI Agent Church and Scott, Epperson's former partner. As the clock ticks down, the fragmented clues and personal vendettas coalesce into a race against time, highlighting themes of retribution and the thin line between hunter and hunted. The performances, particularly from Robert Allen Mukes and Johnny Alonso, anchor the film's grim atmosphere, making "Coffin 2" a compelling, albeit dark, exploration of human resilience under extreme duress.
