CODE OF THIEVES

Cinemavixion Review

Brandon Cornett's 'Code of Thieves' presents a gritty narrative centered on a group of friends whose ill-fated decision to rob a drug dealer plunges them into a desperate bank heist. The film, released in 2020, stars Marcia Adams, Kareem Alexander, and Marvin Bennett, who effectively portray the escalating stakes and moral compromises faced by their characters. While the plot synopsis hints at themes of desperation and loyalty, the external data's IMDb rating of 3.6/10 suggests a critical reception that may not fully align with the film's ambitious premise. Nevertheless, 'Code of Thieves' offers a compelling exploration of consequences, inviting audiences to ponder the lengths to which individuals will go when backed into a corner. Its straightforward action-oriented approach, as indicated by the genre classification, promises a tense viewing experience.
