CLOCKMAKER

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Coppola's 'Clockmaker' offers a charming, albeit rudimentary, exploration of temporal paradoxes through the eyes of its young protagonists. The narrative centers on a trio of children who stumble upon a time-traveling device, inadvertently disrupting the space-time continuum. While the film's premise echoes classic science fiction tropes, its strength lies in its earnest portrayal of childhood curiosity and the weighty consequences of altering history. The performances from Anthony Medwetz, Katie Johnston, and Zachary McLemore anchor the fantastical plot with relatable youthful energy. Though perhaps not reaching the grand ambitions of more sophisticated time-travel narratives, 'Clockmaker' provides an engaging adventure with a valuable lesson about responsibility, making it a worthwhile watch for those who appreciate imaginative storytelling on a more intimate scale.
