CITY OF VULTURES

Cinemavixion Review

CITY OF VULTURES plunges viewers into a grim urban landscape where survival is a daily battle. The narrative follows Short, a man attempting to navigate a straight path after incarceration, only to be ensnared by the pervasive influences of his environment. This crime thriller masterfully depicts the constant struggle against temptation and the harsh realities of street life. The film's tension is palpable, creating a visceral experience that underscores the fight for one's soul amidst a backdrop of daily crime. Marcus Carothers' direction crafts a compelling, albeit bleak, portrait of resilience and the difficult choices faced by those trying to escape the cycle of violence. It's a stark reminder of the powerful grip that circumstance can have, and the internal fortitude required to resist it.
