CIRCUS OF SCREAMS

Cinemavixion Review

This anthology film, "Circus of Screams," ventures into the unsettling with a collection of disparate yet thematically linked tales. Directed by Ken Arnold, Dan de Luca, and Jamie Nash, the movie explores the dark side of seemingly innocent or celebratory occasions, weaving narratives around creepy clowns, sinister puppets, nightmarish bridal showers, and malevolent voodoo rituals. The performances, notably from Matt Servitto, Henry Zebrowski, and Jimmy Bellinger, navigate the shifts in tone and genre with a commitment that grounds the more fantastical elements. While the premise promises a chilling experience, the execution aims for a broad spectrum of horror, from psychological unease to more overt scares, making it a varied, if sometimes uneven, descent into the macabre.
