CIRCUS FREAK KILLER!

Cinemavixion Review

In 1936, as the Knuckles Brothers Show rolls into town, a sinister force begins to pick off its performers. Helen, the drugged-out owner, Virgil, the strongman with a soft spot for Zoe the fortune teller, and Ratty, the enigmatic snake handler, all find themselves entangled in a mystery that blurs the line between sideshow spectacle and gruesome crime scene. As bodies are discovered, savagely ripped apart and their souls seemingly stolen, William Crowley, the sword swallower, joins Virgil and Ratty in a desperate investigation. Director Brian Corder plunges the audience into a world where 'sawdust in the blood' takes on a terrifying new meaning, exploring the dark underbelly of carnival life and the chilling possibility that the killer might be among them. This film offers a suspenseful dive into a grisly mystery set against the backdrop of a traveling circus, questioning the sanity of its owner and the true nature of the horrific violence plaguing the troupe.
