CIA'S 30-YEAR HUNT FOR A DICTATOR: THE REAL STORY OF GADDAFI'S DOWNFALL

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the complex and protracted history of the CIA's efforts to depose Muammar Gaddafi. It meticulously chronicles a decades-long campaign, beginning with a failed assassination attempt in 1986 and evolving into a covert strategy of supporting Libyan rebel forces. The film offers a compelling look at the agency's methods, drawing parallels with a past operation in Guatemala. By examining the psychological warfare tactics employed there, including the use of a fabricated radio station and strategic misinformation, the documentary sheds light on the covert mechanisms that have shaped international events. It presents a fascinating, albeit unsettling, look into the 'covert wars' that often operate beyond public view, revealing the intricate and often hidden hand of intelligence agencies in geopolitical shifts.
