CHRISTMAS CURFEW

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Christmas Curfew,' director Tom Luong crafts a holiday tale centered on sibling mischief that takes an unexpected turn. The story follows a brother and sister who, after being grounded for breaking curfew during Christmas, embark on a series of clandestine night adventures. Their escapades lead them to a perilous encounter with bank robbers hiding in the nearby hills, culminating in the older sister's kidnapping. The narrative shifts gears as the younger brother, aided by his friends – notably one clad in a 'Webman' Halloween costume – and two retired forest service volunteers, orchestrates the apprehension of the criminals. While the premise blends youthful rebellion with a suspenseful thriller element, the film's resolution hinges on an unlikely alliance and a resourceful young protagonist. It offers a unique, albeit unconventional, holiday adventure.
