CHRISTMAS CUPID'S ARROW

Cinemavixion Review

In "Christmas Cupid's Arrow," director Michael D. Sellers crafts a modern take on holiday romance, exploring the complexities of online dating through the eyes of Holly, a dedicated college professor. The film, starring Elisabeth Harnois, Jonathan Togo, and Chad Michael Collins, delves into the often-unsettling discrepancies between digital personas and real-life interactions. Harnois delivers a nuanced performance as Holly, whose journey through a popular dating service takes an unexpected turn when the eloquent messages from a suitor fail to align with his actual behavior. This narrative premise offers a timely commentary on communication and authenticity in the digital age, wrapped in the cozy, festive spirit of a Christmas film. While the film may not boast major awards, its relatable premise and solid performances make it a noteworthy entry for those seeking a contemporary romantic comedy with a touch of suspense.
