CHERYL HOOPER

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the harrowing and inexplicable act of familial homicide, presented from a uniquely intimate perspective. By eschewing a traditional narrator, the series allows the victim's own digital footprint – social media, phone recordings, CCTV, and home videos – to construct the narrative. This 'victim's point of view' approach fosters a profound sense of immediacy and personal connection, letting the voices of those affected, their friends, and family members resonate directly with the audience. It's a stark and powerful exploration of tragedy, offering a raw and unfiltered look at lives cut short and the devastating circumstances surrounding their end.
