CHEDDY ACE

Cinemavixion Review

In "Cheddy Ace," director Crystal Ellis crafts a frantic comedy centered on a down-on-his-luck protagonist facing a dire ultimatum. Victor Battle stars as Cheddy Ace, a man who, after securing a "hood loan" to fund a questionable business venture, finds himself in a race against time to repay a pair of menacing thugs within a mere 24 hours. The plot unfolds as Cheddy, with the reluctant assistance of his nephews (portrayed by Ken Glover and Shon Suber), embarks on a desperate and likely chaotic scavenger hunt to amass the funds. The film, released in 2022, hinges on the comedic potential of its high-stakes premise, exploring themes of desperation and familial obligation amidst a ticking clock. While the external data notes "N/A" for awards and ratings, the premise promises a fast-paced, character-driven narrative that leans into the absurdity of Cheddy's predicament.
