CHEAT THE HANGMAN

Cinemavixion Review

This Western drama, directed by Christopher Forbes, delves into a grim tale of revenge and justice. The narrative follows the son of a hangman who seeks retribution against those responsible for his father's death. His quest for vengeance leads to a fatal confrontation, subsequent arrest, and a trial presided over by the territorial hanging judge, W. Benson Masters. As the son faces the gallows, the community and clergy attempt to intervene, but his ultimate fate rests precariously on the actions of another hangman. The film explores themes of fate, the cyclical nature of violence, and the harsh realities of frontier justice.
