CATWALK: TALES FROM THE CAT SHOW CIRCUIT

Cinemavixion Review

Dive into the surprisingly dramatic world of competitive cat shows with "Catwalk: Tales from the Cat Show Circuit." This documentary, directed by Aaron Hancox and Michael McNamara, offers a vibrant and often hilarious glimpse into a subculture where dedication, thousands of dollars, and fierce rivalries are all part of the quest for Best in Show. The film masterfully captures the personalities not just of the prize-winning felines, like the elegant Persian 'Oh La La' and the campaigning Turkish Angora 'Bobby,' but also of their equally invested owners. With a commendable 80% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.3/10 on IMDb, this film is lauded for its engaging narrative and colorful characters. It’s a testament to how passion can create compelling drama in the most unexpected arenas, proving that the cat show circuit is far more than just grooming and glamour – it's a stage for redemption, ambition, and, of course, unforgettable cats.
