CATTIVO SANGUE

Cinemavixion Review

Simone Hebara's "Cattivo Sangue" (2022) plunges into the gritty world of Sergio, a former contract killer seeking a quiet retirement managing a bar. This self-imposed solitude is shattered by the arrival of Francesco and his sister Roberta, who present Sergio with a final, perilous assignment: to eliminate the notorious Ventura brothers. The film appears to explore themes of redemption, the inescapable past, and the moral complexities faced by those entrenched in a life of violence. While specific critical reception and awards are not detailed, the premise suggests a potentially tense crime drama with a focus on character and consequence. "Cattivo Sangue" offers an intriguing dive into the clandestine operations of the underworld, driven by a compelling protagonist's reluctant return to his former life.
