Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'Cats and Dogs At Wars - Oscar & Nova', delves into the challenging dynamics of interspecies cohabitation within two households. Animal behavior experts Nanci Creedon and Chirag Patel confront situations where newly introduced dogs pose a significant threat to resident cats. In Sheffield, a German Shepherd named Oscar creates a tense environment for a cat named Cleo, necessitating a safety barrier. Expert Nanci Creedon implements training to enhance control over Oscar, while cat counselor Chirag Patel suggests 'stair parties' to alleviate Cleo's stress. Meanwhile, in Birmingham, a family grapples with the psychological warfare between their cat Kitty and a newly arrived Alaskan Malamute Husky cross, Nova. Nova's history of aggression towards humans adds another layer of complexity. Chirag Patel works to rebuild trust with the fearful Kitty, while Nanci Creedon revises Nova's training to de-escalate tensions. The program highlights the emotional toll on the families and the high stakes involved, with the potential for rehoming if the experts cannot resolve the conflicts. Creedon and Patel leverage their combined expertise to mediate these pet feuds and restore peace to the homes.
