Nicola Graef's 2017 documentary, 'Casablanca - Megacity,' offers a compelling portrait of Morocco's vibrant economic heart. The film navigates the intricate tapestry of this sprawling metropolis, charting its evolution from a historical trading post to a dynamic, modern hub. Graef skillfully captures the city's unique duality, juxtaposing the timeless allure of ancient medinas with the sleek lines of contemporary architecture. The documentary serves as a window into Casablanca's rich cultural mosaic and its significant position as a key transshipment point in Africa.
