CARTHAGE: HOW ANCIENT ROME'S GREATEST RIVAL WAS DESTROYED COMPLETELY

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a compelling narrative of Carthage, tracing its journey from a prosperous Phoenician civilization to its ultimate demise at the hands of Rome. It promises to unveil the story of Carthage not through the victor's lens, but through the insights of archaeology and critical history. The exploration covers the city's zenith, including the famed campaigns of Hannibal, and culminates in its complete destruction in 146 BC. It aims to present a more nuanced understanding of this ancient Mediterranean superpower, highlighting its significance in trade, culture, and maritime prowess before its erasure from the historical landscape.
