CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD EXTRA STORY - A CAPITAL INCIDENT!!

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of Cardfight!! Vanguard, titled 'Extra Story - A Capital Incident!!,' offers a charming detour into the personal lives of its characters. The narrative focuses on Emi and her friends as they encounter a seemingly transformed Misaki. The dynamic introduced by Ibuki's perception of Misaki as an adversary, contrasted with Emi's empathetic understanding, creates an engaging emotional core. The plot highlights Misaki's dedication to her studies for the sake of 'Capital,' suggesting a deeper motivation beyond the immediate conflict. While light on action, the episode excels in character development, exploring themes of perception, empathy, and the quiet struggles that shape individuals. It's a thoughtful piece that enriches the world of Vanguard by focusing on the human element behind the card battles.
