CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS

Cinemavixion Review

Adrian Langley's 'Candy Cane Christmas' offers a heartwarming, albeit familiar, holiday tale centered on Phoebe, who seeks to rediscover the true spirit of Christmas. The film, released in 2020, stars Beverley Mitchell, Mark Ghanimé, and Derek Johns, who bring a commendable sincerity to their roles. While the plot, focusing on the realization that cherished traditions are often about the people we share them with rather than the traditions themselves, treads well-worn festive ground, its earnest execution provides a comforting cinematic experience. Despite a single nomination and a modest 5.6 rating on IMDb, 'Candy Cane Christmas' serves as a gentle reminder of the season's emphasis on connection and love, making it a suitable watch for those seeking a light and sentimental holiday movie.
