David Kuan's "Campus Mystery" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered on Song Duoduo, a medical college freshman haunted by recurring nightmares of a pen spirit game. This suspenseful thriller weaves a tale of friendship and escalating dread as Duoduo joins a ghost story club, embarking on a fateful island trip with three companions. What begins as an escape soon unravels into a series of terrifying events, with the island's unsettling familiarity amplifying the horror. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a mixed reception, its exploration of psychological fear and the supernatural elements are likely to intrigue fans of the genre. The performances, particularly from the credited cast including Yoyo, Chen Bingqiang, Yang Manyu, Tao Zui, and Ye Sitong, are central to building the film's suspenseful atmosphere.
