Cinemavixion Review

This found-footage thriller plunges viewers into a grim scenario where a routine inspection of a contaminated meat processing plant escalates into a terrifying ordeal. The film effectively utilizes its low-budget aesthetic to create a sense of immediate, unsettling reality, drawing parallels between the claustrophobic environment of the plant and the invasive nature of the discovered parasite. While the narrative treads familiar ground in the 'infected facility' subgenre, the commitment of the cast, particularly Charlotte Curwood, anchors the escalating panic. The direction, though constrained by the found-footage conceit, crafts moments of genuine dread. It’s a visceral watch that probes anxieties about unseen threats and the breakdown of order, making for a disquieting, if occasionally rough-around-the-edges, viewing experience.
