BUSTER KEATON: THE PALEFACE

Cinemavixion Review

Buster Keaton's comedic genius shines in 'The Paleface,' a silent short where he finds himself inadvertently entangled with an Indian tribe and their conflict with greedy oil barons. Keaton's signature physical comedy and deadpan delivery are on full display as he navigates the perilous situation, employing his characteristic ingenuity to survive and even aid the tribe. The narrative, though brief, offers a classic Keaton blend of slapstick, daring stunts, and a surprisingly engaging plot that highlights his unique ability to find humor in the most unlikely of circumstances.
