BURNT OFFERING

Cinemavixion Review

Steven Perez's "Burnt Offering" plunges viewers into a tense narrative centered on four graffiti artists seeking refuge in an abandoned schoolhouse, only to stumble upon a far more sinister presence. The film effectively builds atmosphere, utilizing the derelict setting to amplify the sense of dread. Scott Rosenfeld, Paige Hullett, and Cameron Chester deliver performances that capture the youthful bravado and subsequent terror of their characters. While the plot treads familiar ground within the horror-thriller genre, Perez's direction crafts moments of genuine suspense. The film's descent into darkness is palpable, making it a compelling watch for those who appreciate a slow-burn descent into terror within an isolated, foreboding environment.
