BURN

Cinemavixion Review

Patrick Lazzara's "Burn" plunges viewers into a tense, two-day race against time, anchored by a compelling premise. The film follows a seasoned hitman who discovers his younger brother is implicated in the murder of a mob boss's trophy wife. This revelation sets off a desperate chain of events as the hitman must locate his fugitive sibling before a ruthless contract killer closes in. The narrative expertly balances the gritty underworld of organized crime with the personal stakes of familial loyalty. Lazzara crafts a taut thriller that explores themes of obligation and the consequences of one's actions, delivering a suspenseful experience that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. The performances effectively convey the mounting pressure and moral ambiguity faced by the characters.
