BULLDOG COURAGE

Cinemavixion Review

Sam Newfield's 1935 Western, "Bulldog Courage," stars Tim McCoy as Tim, a young man seeking justice for his father's death. Swindled out of his mine by the ruthless banker Williams (Karl Hackett), Tim's father met a tragic end. Years later, Tim arrives in town, determined to confront Williams and reclaim his family's legacy. The plot thickens as Williams orchestrates a stagecoach robbery to prevent the mine's owner, Brennan, from repaying his debts. However, Tim intercepts the stolen money, using it to clear Brennan's note, thereby escalating the conflict. As Williams resorts to increasingly desperate measures, including attempting to blow up the mine, Tim stands ready to defend it and continue his father's fight. Joan Woodbury provides a supporting role in this classic tale of revenge and determination set against the backdrop of the American West.
