BULL SHARK

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's 'Bull Shark' plunges audiences into the murky waters of a small Texas town grappling with an aquatic terror. The film skillfully balances the primal fear of a predatory shark with the corrupt undercurrents of local politics and a desperate fight for survival. Thom Hallum delivers a compelling performance as Spencer Timms, the game warden tasked with confronting both the man-eating creature and the town's self-serving officials. The narrative adeptly weaves suspense with a critique of how fear can be exploited for personal gain, particularly by a mayor more concerned with re-election than public safety. While the film embraces its creature-feature roots, it also offers a thoughtful exploration of community, responsibility, and the courage found in the face of overwhelming odds. 'Bull Shark' is a taut thriller that surfaces unexpected depths.
