BUGIE MORTALI

Cinemavixion Review

In "Bugie mortali", Leo Scherman orchestrates a suspenseful thriller centered on a desperate gamble that spirals into a web of deceit. The narrative follows a determined student who, in an attempt to protect her cousin, steps into a dangerous academic charade. What begins as a seemingly straightforward act of loyalty quickly unravels, exposing a labyrinth of darker intentions lurking beneath the surface of university life. The film excels in building tension, drawing viewers into the protagonist's precarious situation as she navigates increasingly perilous circumstances. Kate Drummond, Sydney Ozerov-Meyer, and Keara Graves deliver compelling performances, embodying the escalating fear and moral compromises at the heart of the story. "Bugie mortali" is a taut exploration of how one lie can necessitate a cascade of others, leading to unforeseen and dire consequences.
