Michele Lupo's "Buddy Goes West" is a charmingly anachronistic entry in the Spaghetti Western canon, starring the inimitable Bud Spencer as a gruff but good-hearted outlaw. Set against the backdrop of a dusty, gold-rich village, the narrative sees Spencer's character, known only as "The Doctor," and his companion Girolamo (Amidou) reluctantly drawn into a conflict against a corrupt sheriff and his gang.
