BRUTE SANITY

Cinemavixion Review

Sam Vanivray's "Brute Sanity" plunges viewers into a mind-bending thriller where the lines between reality and illusion blur. The film, starring Adjovi Koene as an astute FBI-trained neuropsychologist, follows her perilous quest alongside a cunning thief. Their objective: to retrieve a reality-altering device before it falls into the wrong hands. Adding to the peril is her deranged ex-boss, portrayed with chilling intensity, who deploys increasingly bizarre and deadly traps to thwart their progress. Vanivray, who also penned the script, crafts a narrative that is both intellectually stimulating and suspenseful, exploring themes of perception and control. While the film garnered 2 wins and 2 nominations, its IMDb rating of 3.8 suggests a divisive reception, perhaps owing to its ambitious, unconventional approach. Nevertheless, "Brute Sanity" offers a unique cinematic experience for those who appreciate a good dose of psychological intrigue and sci-fi disorientation.
