BROKEN PATH: ATTACK OF THE YAKUZA

Cinemavixion Review

Kôichi Sakamoto's "BROKEN PATH: ATTACK OF THE YAKUZA" plunges viewers into an arid landscape where a man's tranquil life on an isolated ranch is shattered by a confrontational past. The narrative hinges on a desperate struggle for survival as a secret resurfaces, threatening the very foundation of his existence and the safety of his wife. Set against the stark beauty of the desert, the film promises a tense exploration of hidden histories and the primal instinct to protect loved ones. The arrival of guests for a housewarming party only heightens the suspense, suggesting that the idyllic setting is poised for disruption. Johnny Yong Bosch, Dan Southworth, and Pamela Walworth lead a cast tasked with embodying the escalating tension in this secluded, sun-drenched drama.
