BROKEN MIRRORS

Cinemavixion Review

Broken Mirrors presents a compelling, albeit somber, narrative centered on the tumultuous journey of 17-year-old Ariella. Following a significant transgression, her path veers into a shadowed exploration of her father's hidden history. This introspective quest forces a confrontation, not just with the past, but between father and daughter, suggesting a profound exploration of generational trauma and the enduring impact of secrets. Shira Haas anchors the film with what promises to be a nuanced performance, navigating the complexities of youthful error and the devastating revelations that follow. The film delves into the often-painful process of self-discovery and the challenging dynamics within families when buried truths surface.
