BROKEN MILE

Cinemavixion Review

Justin McConnell's "Broken Mile" plunges viewers into a harrowing, real-time descent into chaos. Presented as a single, unbroken take, the film captures the frantic energy of a drug addict who awakens to a grim discovery: the woman beside him is dead. The narrative unfolds with relentless urgency as he scrambles to evade the inevitable consequences. This stylistic choice, reminiscent of a continuous shot, amplifies the claustrophobia and desperation of the protagonist's predicament. While the film may not have garnered widespread awards, its bold execution and unflinching portrayal of a desperate situation make it a compelling, albeit intense, viewing experience for those seeking a raw and immediate thriller.
