BROKEN HARVEST

Cinemavixion Review

Maurice O’Callaghan's "Broken Harvest" is a poignant cinematic tapestry, weaving together seventy years of Irish history through the lens of an enduring feud between two neighbors. Set against the evocative backdrops of Ireland and New York, the film masterfully traces the complexities of rivalry, love, and the passage of time. With a runtime of 97 minutes, this 1994 drama, starring Colin Lane, Marian Quinn, and Niall O'Brien, offers a compelling narrative that delves into the heart of human relationships and historical context. The film's strength lies in its ability to capture the nuances of its setting and the emotional weight of its characters' intertwined lives, making it a significant, albeit understated, entry in Irish cinema.
