BROKEN FATHER’S PLAN SPARKS CHAOS

Cinemavixion Review

In "Broken Father’s Plan Sparks Chaos," director Sanele Zulu crafts a gripping South African action drama centered on a desperate father's illegal attempt to reconnect with his daughter. Denied access by the courts, the father's impulsive kidnapping from school ignites a frantic citywide manhunt. The narrative skillfully portrays the escalating tension as the situation spirals from a plea for paternal connection into a volatile standoff, highlighting the profound conflict between love and the law. The film's strength lies in its raw emotional power and real-time suspense, amplified by the casting of a real father-daughter duo, Kagiso Modupe and Tshimollo Modupe, who bring an undeniable authenticity to their complex roles. Samela Tyelbooi also features in this intense exploration of familial desperation.
