BREAKING & EXITING

Cinemavixion Review

Peter Facinelli's directorial debut, "Breaking & Exiting," offers a darkly comedic exploration of redemption and unexpected romance. The film centers on Harry, a career criminal whose life takes an unforeseen turn during a botched burglary. What begins as a routine heist quickly evolves into a journey of self-discovery as Harry becomes entangled with Daisy, leading to a series of events that are both humorous and poignant. While the narrative treads familiar ground in the romantic comedy genre, the film distinguishes itself with its unconventional approach to character development and its willingness to delve into the messier aspects of human connection. The performances effectively capture the nuanced emotional arc of the characters, making "Breaking & Exiting" a compelling watch for those seeking a rom-com with a bit more bite and introspection.
