BOYS WILL BE BOYS

Cinemavixion Review

"Boys Will Be Boys" presents a premise ripe for comedic or dramatic exploration, as six unsuspecting strangers find themselves sharing an exclusive beach house, courtesy of a fortuitous internet company. While the local data offers a tantalizing glimpse into this setup, the external data enriches our understanding by attributing the direction to Mary Kerr and featuring performances from Leo Thorp, Cassie Hayter, and Katherine Karp. This short-form thriller, released in 2023, promises a concentrated dose of tension and character interaction within its brief runtime. The narrative hook—strangers forced into close proximity—is a classic setup that, in the hands of director Kerr, could lead to unexpected alliances or escalating conflicts. The film invites viewers to ponder themes of social dynamics and the unpredictable nature of shared experiences, making it a noteworthy addition to contemporary short cinema.
