BOTTOM

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges into the gritty reality of a man pushed to his absolute limit. 'Bottom' masterfully portrays the devastating impact of corporate greed on the individual, leaving its protagonist stripped of his livelihood and dreams. As Derrick Jones navigates the despair of unemployment and impending fatherhood, the narrative builds a palpable tension, exploring the dark corners of the human spirit when faced with profound injustice. The film's exploration of revenge as a potential, albeit dangerous, path to reclaiming dignity is compelling. While the descriptions hint at a narrative reminiscent of 'Falling Down', 'Bottom' carves its own identity, offering a raw and unflinching look at societal pressures and the desperate measures one might take when pushed to the edge.
