BORDERFORCE USA - THE BRIDGES

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of "Borderforce USA: The Bridges" offers a stark, unflinching look at the front lines of national security, focusing on the critical international crossings along the US-Mexico border. The documentary series, now in its first season, provides unprecedented access to the daily operations of Customs and Border Protection officers. This episode particularly highlights the evolving and increasingly dangerous methods employed by cartels to smuggle narcotics, showcasing a significant discovery of methamphetamine cleverly concealed within everyday items. Beyond the high-stakes interdictions, the narrative also touches upon the human element, presenting a compelling case of an asylum seeker whose story challenges the officers' resolve. The series effectively balances the procedural aspects of border enforcement with the complex socio-political realities it navigates, making for a gripping and informative viewing experience.
