BOONIE BEARS: ROBO RUMBLE

Cinemavixion Review

In "Boonie Bears: Robo-Rumble," director Fuyuan Liu delivers an animated adventure that, while perhaps aimed at younger audiences, offers a surprisingly engaging narrative about unlikely alliances. The film centers on Logger Vick, who, facing unemployment during the festive season, takes on the role of a forest ranger. Initially met with suspicion by the bear duo Briar and Bramble, Vick's true intentions are called into question. However, this dynamic is put to the ultimate test when a colossal "Supper Chopping Robot" threatens to decimate their shared home. The plot cleverly shifts from conflict to cooperation, as the animals and their former adversary must unite to protect the forest. While specific awards and detailed reception data are scarce, the film's core message of collaboration and environmental protection resonates. The animation, driven by a talented voice cast including Rick Jay Glen and Liu Siqi, provides a vibrant backdrop to this action-packed, yet heartfelt, tale of defending nature.
