BODY PUZZLE

Cinemavixion Review

Lamberto Bava's "Body Puzzle" (1992) is a giallo-esque thriller that plunges viewers into a chilling mystery. The film centers on Tracy, a young widow grappling with profound grief, whose world is shattered by a string of brutal murders. As Detective investigates, a horrifying modus operandi comes to light: the killer is systematically harvesting organs from the victims. This grim discovery propels the narrative into a suspenseful race against time, weaving a tale of psychological distress and macabre investigation. While the film garnered one nomination, its blend of horror and mystery, set against a backdrop of personal tragedy, offers a compelling watch for fans of the genre. The Italian production, starring Joanna Pacula and Tomas Arana, delivers a tense atmosphere characteristic of Bava's directorial style, making "Body Puzzle" a noteworthy, albeit unsettling, cinematic experience.
