BLUR CIRCLE

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher J. Hansen's "Blur Circle" is a poignant exploration of grief and the tenacious grip of hope. The film centers on Jill Temple, a mother consumed by the unsolved disappearance of her son. Cora Vander Broek delivers a compelling performance, embodying the raw anguish and unwavering determination of a parent refusing to accept loss. The narrative takes a significant turn with the introduction of Burton Rose, portrayed with an enigmatic depth that challenges Jill's perception of reality and her own resilience. Hansen skillfully crafts a narrative that is both a mystery and a profound character study, delving into the psychological impact of trauma. The film's quiet intensity and emotional resonance, bolstered by solid performances from Matthew Brumlow and Ryan Artzberger, make "Blur Circle" a thought-provoking watch that lingers long after the credits roll.
