BLUE LIGHTNING

Cinemavixion Review

"BLUE LIGHTNING" offers a heartwarming, albeit familiar, narrative centered on an unlikely bond. The story unfolds as a curmudgeonly elder finds his solitary existence disrupted by the arrival of a spirited orphan. While the initial premise suggests potential conflict, the film pivots towards a shared passion for soap box derby racing, providing the emotional core for their developing relationship. The performance by Quinton Aaron anchors the film, portraying a character whose gruff exterior gradually softens. This tale explores themes of connection, second chances, and the joy found in shared pursuits, making for a feel-good experience that emphasizes the power of intergenerational friendship.
