BLOODY MARY

Cinemavixion Review

This chilling independent horror feature, 'BLOODY MARY,' plunges viewers into the terrifying folklore of the vengeful spirit summoned by uttering her name. Directed by David Gregory, the film taps into primal fears, exploring the dark consequences that unfold when a group of friends reunites and awakens an ancient, deadly curse. The narrative effectively builds suspense, drawing audiences into a claustrophobic world where the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur. While the specifics of the curse and its origins are shrouded in mystery, the film excels in creating an atmosphere of dread and palpable tension. The performances from Sarah T. Cohen, Chrissie Wunna, and Antonia Whillans anchor the escalating horror, portraying characters grappling with an unseen, malevolent force. 'BLOODY MARY' is a compelling watch for those who appreciate atmospheric horror that relies on psychological unease and the power of urban legends to deliver its scares.
